prejudice? or fear of unknown?

I've seen many cases where a male calls the other male "gay" or "fag" for his hobbies or interests.

This country is very obsessed with the 'idea' of a man or woman, it has forgotten what those genders have to portray.

In my most honest opinion, i believe most feminists are stupid and bone-headed.

Don't get me wrong, I fully support the feminism from the bottom of my heart, but we'll get into this subject sometime next week.

anyways, the point I want to make for today is calling one "gay" or "Fag" in very derogatory manner is just immature or just plain stupid.

Let’s think about this for a moment,

There is a person A who is in love with football, love going outside, and gets drunk off of his ass every day.

While there is person B who loves to listen to calming music such as show tunes, classic, and accapella, loves to sit and read, or even play video game and doesn't enjoy drink very much.

Most likely person A will portray person B as a "Fag" with very conceited attitude.

Now in this case person A’s thought process will probably involve person B not following the ‘idea’ of a so called “the MAN.”

This is an extreme case of prejudice and proof of one’s simplicity.

The alpha ego type of male is mostly bottling up their emotions, physically strong, do not admit their faults, and narcissistic because they have to protect the pack-in most cases, the female followers.

And this kind of male is portrayed as “the MAN”

Now let’s take this apart one by one.

Bottling up emotions, I wonder why one would bottle up their emotions. A psychologically healthy individual will not likely bottle up their emotions, as they know how to resolve certain negative emotions that one gets. It just means a person who is bottling up emotions hasn’t figured out a way to resolve feelings. It just seems like this is a sign of immaturity.

Second, physically strong. If we are living in the wilds or at the time of survival, this is very important. However if we take a look at society nowadays, physical ability is mostly for entertainment or manual labor. So this seems to be a sign of inability to adapt.

Third, not admitting one’s mistakes. This one does not even need to be picked apart.

Next, narcissistic. Narcissism comes from loving one too much and not being able to love surroundings because the person spends all of his/her love towards themselves. Even the origin of the word narcissism comes from Greek/Roman mythology. Narcissist was a man who loved himself too much that eventually he starved himself to death watching his reflection on a pond. This one means that they lose sight of the people around them because they are too focused on them, thinking the worlds evolve around them. Simply put, self-centered asshole.

So overall, the regular model male is basically self-centered, conceited, immature simpleton who wouldn’t admit his mistake.

So why do we put so much emphasis on what this kind of person thinks?

I heard on the radio the other day from a program called “the Jersey Guys” which is a fine talk radio show.

However one of the host Casey Bartholomew has thrown a very questionable comments.

If you get manicures and pedicures, then you are gay, because that’s the way god intended. The god made males so that they can just bite off their nails.

I couldn’t tell if he was serious or joking. But I have to assume that he put his real thought in joking manner.

Now, I can point out at least three mistakes with this argument.

However, I shall retire for the night as I am tired.

The First Problem

To start this blog off with a bang, I want to point out one clear thing.

I was just surfing through online the other day, and I saw a banner saying "are you voting for obama?"

the sad thing is though, I know so many people of my age who are supporting Obama.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not against obama, nor I am against John McCain.

Here's the thing though, I want to ask all those people who are supporting Obama, why?

Why oh Why, are people supporting Obama? This campaign is not campaign about issues.

the issues that needs so much attention such as Iraq, Gas price, Economy, Stem Cell research, Foreign policy, and so forth.

Rather, this is the theme of this presidential election, "if you don't vote for Obama, than you're racist, and if you don't vote for hillary, then you're sexist."

too bad Hillary Clinton isn't Republican, it would have made an amusing battle between the two.

to go off topic for a second, what the hell is Conservative Democrat?? how the hell does THAT make sense?

anyway, the point i want to make after this long intro. is that there are many people who are supporting Obama without actually knowing his takes on issues.

sometimes it's just mind blowing that some of the promises that Obama made, especially ones about racism or economy are very skeptical and idealistic with small sense of reality.

However, people are saying that Obama is the "cool" guy.

Personally the reason i think people support Obama is just because he's Democrat.

Just because George Bush has messed up so badly and people think it's Republican's fault.

With the Economy Stimulus Act, the defecit of U.S. has increased to somewhere around the ball park of 130 billion dollars.

That is by far the largest defecit US has ever faced.

I heard some say that we are facing a decade of recession.

And at time like this, probably the most important issue is the Economy, not some stupid attempt like Economy Stimulus Act.

I think Obama is great too, however, People are not paying attention to the issues we are facing.

On that note, I wanna say,

"People, PLEASE, when you pick who you choose, don't choose based on your concept of "cool," especially when the economy is so bad. Pay attention to the Politics, DON'T give up on politics, when you do, that's when we go back to Monarchy. Democracy minus people can only be Monarchy."
